Practice has been cancelled for today, September 8th due to a . mandatory coaches' meeting for all head coaches. See you all tomorrow at 6PM! Parents, ensure your children are hydrating and drinking plenty of water!

The Bears flag football team and cheerleaders took a minute to pose for a team photo. These players and cheerleaders are from ages 4-6. The flag football team came out on top on Saturday with a 24-0 win against the Atlanta Bulldogs in Atlanta, Texas. Way to start the season off with a 1-0 record, going into a BYE week.
Earlier Saturday morning, the Sic Em Bears were seen getting ready for their opponents, the Atlanta Bulldogs, when the game became rained out. The game was called off and cancelled until Sunday at 2:30PM.

Practice every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 6:00PM at the practice field.
An announcement will be made when there is no practice. Until then, parents have your children hydrate and drink much water possible due to such high temperatures. Summer is not over; it will only continue to get hotter heading into the fall season.

The Texarkana Bears flag football team came away with the win against the Atlanta Bulldogs today in Atlanta, TX. The Bears blew the Bulldogs out and came out on top in a 26-0 blowout. The rest of the festivites were rained out on and the rest of the games will continue on tomorrow, September 7th.

Great news came on this date for the Texarkana Bears. The TK Bears adopted their mascot, the grizzly bear, and gave it a name and a new uniform to sport during the football games. The mascot was coined the nickname "Smokey," although the uniform will be sported by a female.

It has just been confirmed that the TK Bears have decided upon a new logo for their team. The coaches have adopted a logo similar to the Baylor Bears. The only difference is that Texarkana added a little flavor to the mascot and changed the name to Texarkana instead. Gearing up towards the new season, expect to see Texarkana in new jerseys with a new mascot and logo.

Looks like the TK Ducks are looking for a new start. It was announced that the Texarkana Ducks has changed their official team name and mascot from the Texarkana Ducks to the Texarkana Bears. One of the coaches went on to make a comment by saying, "We are looking for a fresh start..something new this upcoming season. We are starting over!"
Bright future ahead this season for Texarkana aka the TK Bears. No more "quacking" noises. Instead, how about loud 'Grrrrr" from the grizzly Bears!
